Join textile artist Nina Cherie Cahill in the Noted. Classroom for a Loom Weaving Workshop! Loom Weaving is the newest addition to our Get Creative Series and such a fun skill to add to your creative toolkit. In this workshop you will learn the basic techniques for loom weaving and complete your own tapestry, a fun piece of fiber art!

The workshop is about 2 hours and will include everything you need to participate, including your own 10" wooden loom kit which is yours to keep! There is absolutely no experience required and this workshop is great for beginners and those with some weaving experience. Our project in this class will be a fun geometric tapestry, in your choice of colors. Nina can also help you customize your design and you're welcome to come with inspiration for your piece. 

Things to know:

• Tapestry is a unique weaving technique where you can create tons of colorful designs by interlacing threads of yarn on a loom. Think of it as painting with yarn. Once you learn the basics you can replicate these skills for many more pieces of original art and functional goods.
• Your ticket includes all supplies needed to create your tapestry which can be framed or hung as a piece of art.
  
• Each participant will receive a wooden loom kit which is yours to keep after the class.
• We offer complimentary alcoholic beverages (we have great non-alcoholic options too). These events are not byob.
• This class is open to all ages but participants under 18 years old need to be accompanied by an adult.
• Tickets are not refundable or transferable. It's like buying tickets to a concert, the show goes on whether you are there or not. Sorry!
